10 Favorite Scriptures

There are roughly 4,200 religions in the world. Of that, Christianity is the largest with more 200 denominations. From Catholics to Baptists, Lutherans, Evangelicals, Unitarians and Latter-Day Saints, each church has one thing in common - their faith and belief in the Bible. That being said, the translations (taken from the Catholic Bible) of my favorite scriptures may not align with your translation exactly.

Joshua 1:9 "Behold, I am instructing you. Be strengthened, and be steadfast. Do not dread, and do not fear. For the Lord your God is with you in all things, wherever you may go."

Sirach 1:29 "Those who are patient will suffer for a brief time, and afterwards, happiness will return."

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life."

1 Corinthians 15:10 "But, by the grace of God, I am what I am. And his grace in me has not been empty, since I have labored more abundantly than all of them. Yet it is not I, but the grace of God within me."

Proverbs 3:15 "She is more precious than all riches, and all that can be desired cannot prevail in comparison to her."

Isaiah 26:4 "You have trusted in the Lord for all eternity, in the Lord God almighty forever."

1 Corinthians 13:13 "But for now, these three continue: faith, hope, and charity. And the greatest of these is charity."
